Set within generous, fully enclosed private gardens, this beautifully renovated comfortable gîte in rural France offers peace, privacy, and its own dedicated parking. Recently modernised to an exceptionally high standard, the cottage combines contemporary comfort with original character, creating a welcoming and relaxing holiday home in the heart of the Centre-Val de Loire.

The spacious living room is designed for comfort, with ample seating for all guests, a TV with English FreeSat and French channels, a DVD player, and a selection of board games. A traditional stone fireplace with log burner adds warmth and atmosphere on cooler days (logs provided). French doors open onto the terrace, while large windows offer lovely views across the peaceful valley.

The modern, fully equipped kitchen makes self-catering easy and enjoyable, with an oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, and coffee maker. A full range of cookware, crockery, glassware, and cutlery is provided. An additional large fridge-freezer and washing machine are located in the utility area.

A convenient ground-floor shower room with WC and walk-in shower completes the downstairs accommodation.

Upstairs are three light and airy bedrooms, one with a king-size double bed and two with twin beds—ideal for families or couples holidaying together. Each bedroom offers generous storage, including fitted wardrobes, chests of drawers, and bedside tables. Characterful sloping ceilings add charm, while windows look out over the garden and surrounding countryside.

The modern family bathroom features a large double-ended bath and a spacious walk-in shower, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day.

The cottage is surrounded by a large, fully enclosed garden, formerly an orchard, with fruit trees and plenty of space to relax. Guests are welcome to enjoy the potager (vegetable garden), where seasonal produce such as tomatoes, salad leaves, strawberries, and herbs can be picked when available.

The terrace is furnished with a BBQ, dining table, and chairs for relaxed outdoor meals, while additional seating and sun loungers are positioned around the garden.

The private splash pool is ideal for cooling off in the summer months, measuring 5.5 m in diameter and approximately 1.2 m deep.

This family-friendly holiday cottage in France is well suited to guests travelling with babies and young children. The following items are available free of charge on request:

As dog owners ourselves, we are pleased to offer a genuinely dog-friendly gîte in France. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at no extra charge. The secure, fully enclosed garden offers peace of mind, and there are excellent local dog walks, including off-lead routes, quiet lanes, woodland, and open countryside. Maps are provided, and local vets are familiar with issuing Animal Health Certificates for return travel.

All bed linen and towels are included at no extra charge. Each guest is provided with a bath sheet, hand towel, and pool towel, along with kitchen and tea towels. For two-week stays, a complimentary mid-stay linen change is provided.
